Ahead of the second season of Straight Up Steve Austin on USA Network, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin sat down with FOX Sports‘ Ryan Satin to talk about a number of topics. Among other things, the three-time Royal Rumble winner also named his favorite WWE Superstars from the current roster.
The very first name ‘Stone Cold’ took was of the former SmackDown Women’s champion, Bayley. He praised her heel work on the blue brand, and admitted that he was very much entertained by her performance throughout the lockdown period.
“Well, I’ve said in the past, Bayley … when she turned heel, I think she was one of the most entertaining heels in the business. There’s layers to her work.”
Bayley recently joined Steve Austin on Broken Skull Sessions. The episode will be available on WWE Network this Sunday.

Steve Austin was proven wrong about the current WWE Champion
Steve Austin also named Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. But the former has only just returned from half a year’s hiatus to team up with Asuka. Together they beat Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Becky Lynch, on the other hand, is on maternity break, having given birth to her first child with fellow WWE Superstar Seth Rollins earlier in December. They have named their daughter Roux.
In their absence, Bayley’s work is what has been keeping ‘Stone Cold’ glued to the WWE television.
“From the female standpoint – Charlotte just came back, and just started tuning in to see what she’s got going on, and Becky Lynch left to have her baby – but, right now, I really like Bayley’s heel work. I’ve been watching it and liking it for quite some time.”
Steve Austin praised the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre as well. He revealed that many years ago, Mick Foley had told him to keep an eye out for The Scottish Psychopath, and Steve Austin had disagreed, saying McIntyre was a “mid-card guy”. He is glad he has been proven wrong.
