Rusev, known as Miro in AEW, showed up at WrestleMania 37 to support his wife Lana in her tag team turmoil match. WWE fired Rusev last year when they released several stars due to the pandemic. Lana wrote, “Yesterday, I was surprised by @ToBeMiro and Dad! My father supported all my decisions to get me here, and my husband supported my decision this year to live in a hotel for 250 days, thousands of miles from home, so I could be closer to training. I’m a lucky woman. #WrestleMania.”
Lana told the Geek Vibes Podcast about Nia Jax, “”Every person who has fought Nia and Shayna, they know how ruthless they are. I can guarantee, every single woman in that locker room that steps in the ring with Nia, they know what a risk it is. We can remember what happened with Becky [Lynch] and Kairi [Sane] and so many other people. Anything can happen with that woman. She is strong, she is a beast, she fought in the Men’s Royal Rumble. She beat up Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio.
That’s literally insane, the power of this woman. Nia actually took me out in 2019 at the Royal Rumble. She’s been constantly targeting me, probably because I like the color pink.”
