Ric Flair Debuts In New Wrestling Promotion

Ric Flair debuted in AAA, accompanying Andrade to the ring against Kenny Omega at TripleMania. Flair put Konnan in the Figure 4, and chopped Omega.

Flair will reportedly just CM Punk and Daniel Bryan soon in AEW. Former WWE Superstar CM Punk has not been seen on WWE television since the 2014 edition of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He walked out on the company the next day and has not looked back since then. Following his WWE exit, many fans have been wanting to see Punk make his return to the company every year. He has yet to make his return to the squared circle and at this point in time, it seems very unlikely. A WWE Superstar was also previously punished for ripping off CM Punk.

CM Punk has been in talks with AEW for quite a while as indicated by reports and now it seems even WWE is under the impression that Punk has already signed with AEW.

CM Punk recently spoke to Movie Trivia Schmoedown’s Kristian Harloff, where he talked about being inspired by Batista who is now a star in Hollywood and wanting to follow in his footsteps.

“I watch guys, friends of mine, Dave Bautista, do these huge blockbuster roles but also do roles that are challenging to him because he wants to grow and be a better actor,” Punk said. “I just want to follow in his footsteps, you know what I mean? And it’s not because I want to be rich or to be famous but I see how fun acting is and I see how playing dress-up, essentially, how fun that can be. When stuff’s hard, I tend to want to do it more and be good at it. I have that personality trait.”
