Logan Paul is not happy about the way the judges scored the highly-hyped fight between his brother, Jake Paul and former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley. Although Paul won the fight, he won via split decision, meaning one judge scored the contest for Woodley. This did not sit well with the older Paul brother and he is calling for reform in the boxing scoring system. ‘The Maverick’ would take to social media to make his grievance heard. Logan Paul flirted with this big name at the Woodley fight.
“The subjectivity in boxing is honestly ridiculous & this sport needs an adjustment. I’m looking at the variation in the judge’s score cards & they’re all vastly different interpretations of the same fight. How is this possible.”
In other news regarding Logan Paul, during a recent edition of his ever-popular IMPAULSIVE podcast, the popular content creator turned combat sports star stated how he was almost responsible for an improv showdown between two of the most massive names in mixed martial arts and combat sports on the whole – Conor McGregor and Khabib. “I was almost responsible for a massive altercation between two of the biggest combat sports stars on the planet,” Logan said on his IMPAULSIVE Podcast.
“I hit up my person [at the restaurant] and said ‘can you get me a table for my chef Eric, plus three?’ I didn’t think anything of it. But I got a text the next morning saying ‘yo, Eric showed up with Conor McGregor’ because he was cooking for Conor in his camp. I don’t know why I didn’t make that connection. She was like ‘yeah, Khabib was here 10 minutes before McGregor walked in’. 10 minutes!”
