Omos has been featured heavily since he was taken under the wing of former WWE Champion AJ Styles, who is considered as one of the best pro wrestlers. He is a veteran star and Omos has certainly learned a lot from the experienced star. They have even held the WWE RAW Tag-Team Champions. However, now it seems that his scheduled match against Omos didn’t happen for a reason. It was speculated that Omos got a top WWE RAW star fired.
Omos flew back home before taping
It has not been a good time for AJ Styles as Omos turned on him on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as well, effectively breaking up their tag team. Many fans felt this breakup was very abrupt and nonsensical. ‘The Phenomenal One’ and his former tag-team partner were set to square off against each other on Monday Night RAW this week in a singles match. However, that didn’t happen as AJ Styles faced Apollo Crews instead. Before that, it seemed as if he was going to face Commander Azeez.
According to a report by PWInsider, the seven-footer was in Detroit but it was said that he flew home from Detroit before the taping.
“Omos was in Detroit earlier today but multiple sources have confirmed he left Detroit and flew home before the taping.”
Grayson Waller also appeared on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW to continue his feud with AJ Styles. We will have to wait and see whether Omos will return to face AJ Styles eventually or not.
