The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently made her on-screen return. After featuring in several Therapy sessions on RAW, she made her in-ring return at Elimination Chamber premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She failed to win Women’s Elimination Chamber match and was written off the company. This week’s edition of Monday Night RAW took place at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, which is the hometown of the star. She was suddenly taken off the programming as she did not work the show. It seems she is not planned for storylines until after WrestleMania 38.
WWE might book Alexa Bliss after WrestleMania 38
Mike Johnson of PWInsider recently opened up on Bliss. Though Bliss made her return to in-ring action she did not perform on RAW this week. This has raised concerns about her booking on the show. Johnson noted that she’s off for (bad) creative reasons:
“…despite now once again being an active performer on the red brand, the three-time RAW Women’s Champion was not booked on the show. – Even though she just returned to WWE TV, we are told that what is next for her will likely not happen until after Wrestlemania.”
Other top stars of the female division Bayley and Asuka, who are former Women’s Champions are also unfortunately out of action due to injury. Johnson noted that “the current plan is for her to return to TV regularly after Wrestlemania.” While speaking about Asuka, she is “waiting and ready to return once WWE has a plan in place for her. She is ready to go after her shoulder surgery.”
We will have to see what WWE has in store for these stars in the coming days. During a recent conversation with Wrestling Inc, Nikki A.S.H. discussed her history with Bliss, credit to 411 Mania for the below.
“You know, Alexa and I, we won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, twice. We won the Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania against The Kabuki Warriors, Alexa and I, we were best friends, we would travel together. You know, I just want to see her in a good place, I just want her to be happy.”
