Dave Meltzer discussed Vince McMahon’s affair and sexual misconduct scandals on Wrestling Observer Radio today.
He said, “Vince is the sixth grader who brags about every hot chick. Wrestling allowed him to continue that life.
For so many of the wrestlers in another era, wrestling was the way you got to stay in high school for 20 more years. To be with high school girls when you’re in your mid 30s.”
WWE have announced recent contracts with Logan Paul and Pat McAfee to seemingly try to get good PR during Vince McMahon’s scandal.
Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in all of WWE and has competed against the best stars in the company. He is also a former WWE Champion as he won the title on two different occasions. Drew McIntyre was unable to win the WWE Championship from Bobby Lashley on Night One of WrestleMania despite his best efforts. In a repeat of what took place at WrestleMania 37, Drew McIntyre competed against Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman for the WWE Championship on Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view. Despite putting on an incredible performance, the Scottish Warrior was not able to win the WWE Title again. Drew McIntyre could also be going to a new pro wrestling promotion.
Drew McIntyre also lost to Bobby Lashley at the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view and lost the right to challenge for the WWE Championship. He then made his way to Friday Night Smackdown and will feud with Roman Reigns eventually.
While speaking in a Wrestling Inc. exclusive interview with Nick Hausman, Drew McIntyre made it clear if he gets the chance he is “going to beat Logan Paul up.”
“I don’t know what kind of contract it is, if he’s full-time if he’s signed for a series of matches but he did impress me at WrestleMania. He’s obviously an incredible athlete, and he’s a fan of our product, you don’t just come in and do as good a job as he did without knowing our job well enough.
“He’s such an entertainer, he gets it, he’s genuinely a bad guy,” McIntyre said. “He’s one of the most hated people on planet Earth, I assume that’s just him, if it’s not, kudos to him that’s what sells tickets, people want to see guys like him get beat up.”
