There is speculation that Cena’s opponent could be Austin Theory, the current United States Champion, who has recently hinted at a potential match with Cena on Raw. Additionally, Theory reportedly filmed a backstage segment with Cena during the December 30 edition of SmackDown in Tampa, FL, where Cena teamed up with Kevin Owens to defeat Reigns and Zayn.
