The Undertaker, a legendary wrestler in WWE history, entertained his fans for over three decades with his unique persona and amazing in-ring performances, often putting his own physical safety on the line to create memorable moments. One of his many interesting encounters in the ring was with Hornswoggle, a fan-favorite wrestler who was known for his comedic acts during the mid to late 2000s.

Hornswoggle had worked with some of the top Superstars in WWE during his career, including The Undertaker, and recently he recalled a funny incident that occurred during a match between Batista, Kane & The Undertaker vs Finlay facing The Great Khali & Big Daddy V on an episode of Smackdown in 2008. Hornswoggle was supposed to emerge from under the ring towards the end of the match and distract The Undertaker, but things didn’t quite go according to plan.

During an interview with Denise Salcedo, Hornswoggle revealed that he had a bit too much to drink the night before the match and ended up falling asleep under the ring apron. He was supposed to be rolled out by Fit Finlay and thrown into the ring for an interaction with The Undertaker, but when Finlay lifted the apron and saw Hornswoggle sleeping face down, he thought he had been knocked out by one of the beams.

Finlay woke Hornswoggle up, but he had already missed his cue and realized that he had to interact with The Undertaker while being under the influence. The entire time, he kept apologizing to The Undertaker under his breath, saying, “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.” Despite the hilarious mishap, Hornswoggle got to work with one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and The Undertaker himself found the incident amusing.

In retrospect, the story is a testament to the lengths WWE Superstars will go to entertain their fans, even when things don’t go as planned. The Undertaker and Hornswoggle were able to create a funny and memorable moment in the ring, showcasing their incredible ability to adapt and improvise in any situation.
