WWE Employees Fear Mass Firing At Vince’s Office

WWE is experiencing a lot of changes, both on and off the wrestling mat. Recently, the company announced that it will be moving into a new headquarters, but many employees are worried about their job security. The Endeavor merger with the UFC has left many employees feeling that their jobs might be in jeopardy.

Earlier, we reported that WWE employees were required to return to the office after working remotely for some time. The company sent an email to its employees, stating that they will have to work five days a week in the office, starting from May 1, 2023. The email emphasized the importance of in-person collaboration and creativity, which is necessary for the company’s continued growth.

“As I have had the good fortune of meeting with so many of you over the last few months, it has become apparent to me that our business thrives on creativity and unparalleled work ethic. All of us physically together is a part of that. As such, we will be going back to what has always been the case prior to COVID, which is a return to five days a week in office.

Nothing replaces out ability to interact with one another as we collectively continue to built and represent our company. We will all connect better and be better. Monday, May 1, 2023, will be the start of our full time return to office.

For those based in Stamford, our first group has moved to our new HQ and the rest of us will be there shortly. We thank you for your patience with the process. If you have not yet seen it, it is a spectacular work space that we believe you will all be quite proud of.

Thank you for all. “

The pandemic allowed WWE employees to work from home, but this new directive has left some employees worried about their job security. According to PW Insider, some employees fear that returning to the office could lead to job losses, especially after the merger with the UFC. Some employees are also concerned that the increased stress of returning to the office full-time could exacerbate their job security worries.

For some employees, there’s also the fear that post-merger, they may be out of a job and as if that wasn’t stressful enough, now they will be back in the office full-time, compounding that stress. There weren’t a lot of happy employees opening their emails

With WWE’s merger with the UFC, there may be redundancies, which could result in job losses. Unfortunately, mergers are usually followed by redundancies in companies. WWE employees are hoping that they will not be affected by any job losses and that the company will continue to grow and thrive with their contributions.
