Donald Trump Drops ‘Treason’ Bombshell In Video

According to Mediate, during his appearance at the Georgia state Republican Convention, former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back as he addressed the recent indictment brought against him. The ex-president compared the indictment to the tactics of Stalinist Russia, making his disapproval known. The day before, special counsel Jack Smith had unsealed a 37-count criminal indictment against Trump, exposing a shocking 31 counts of violations of the Espionage Act.

In his speech, Trump made it clear that he believed the Presidential Records Act covered all of his documents and emphasized that it was not a criminal act. He expressed frustration that the indictment failed to mention this crucial act, as it would have a significant impact on the case. Trump accused the prosecution of intentionally sidestepping the Presidential Records Act and opting to employ the Espionage Act instead. With a hint of mockery, he derided the use of the Espionage Act, emphasizing the word “espionage” and treating it with disdain.

Trump also shared his thoughts on the origins of the Espionage Act, suggesting it was initially implemented during World War One to deal with matters related to boxes. While his statement may have seemed tangential, he hinted at the sheer volume of documents involved in the current administration, particularly highlighting President Biden’s alleged 850 boxes scattered across Chinatown and Washington, D.C.

According to Trump, Biden was grappling with how to handle these boxes and even fighting legal battles related to them. The former president juxtaposed Biden’s predicament with the accusations of obstruction levied against him, painting a contrasting picture of how boxes can be perceived differently depending on the political context.

Trump concluded his speech by expressing his disappointment and viewing the indictment as a sad day for the country. As the first president to face charges related to violations of the Espionage Act, he believed he was being targeted unfairly, alleging that the “deep state” had previously attempted to frame him for treason. In his eyes, this recent indictment signaled that they were attempting to do so once again, adding to his frustration and concern for the state of the nation.

TRUMP: As president, all of my documents fell under what is known as the Presidential Records Act, which is not at all a criminal act. Everything, it’s all judged by the Presidential Records Act.

In this whole fake indictment, they don’t even once mention the Presidential Records Act, which is really the ruling act, which this case falls under 100%. Because they want to use something called the Espionage Act. Doesn’t that sound terrible? Ohhh, espionage! We got a box. I got a box. The espionage.

The Espionage Act of 1917. I think it was put in there about World War One. Boxes. And by the way, Biden’s got 850 boxes. He’s got boxes in Chinatown, D.C. He’s got boxes all over the place. He doesn’t know what the hell to do with them, and he’s fighting them on the boxes. He doesn’t want to give the boxes. And then they say Trump is obstruction and he’s obstructing.

No, it’s a sad, sad day for the country.
