CNN Host Brutally Insults ‘Fool’ Sylvester Stallone

It has been noted that Chris Cuomo isn’t a fan of the legendary actor Sylvester Stallone.

The former CNN anchor described the movie star — known for his roles in films like “Rocky,” “Creed” and “Rambo” — as a “cartoonish fool.”

“I don’t love his characters,” he said on “The Adam Friedland Show” Wednesday.

Podcast host Adam Friedland then asked him whether his former co-worker Wolf Blitzer ever had his “pen*s out under the desk.”

The NewsNation anchor responded “no” and added, “I called him ‘the captain’ when I was there. He was the exemplar of everything we wanted to be. The guy works his a– off and he’s a good man.”

Friedland jokingly chimed back in, “He’s like a Stallone character,” to which Cuomo replied, “[But] instead of being a cartoonish fool, Blitzer is just an earnest good guy.”

“You’re anti-Stallone?” the podcaster, 36, asked.

Cuomo conceded that he simply wasn’t a fan of the characters the actor has portrayed on the big screen. The journalist, who recently made a TV comeback after a controversy involving his brother, then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, has made provocative comments before.

He previously claimed he “was going to kill everybody” after he was axed by CNN in 2021.

“I had to accept [my firing] because I was going to kill everybody, including myself. Things can consume you,” Chris told former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci on his podcast, “Open Book with Anthony Scaramucci,” last year.

The TV personality was canned from CNN for advising Andrew amid the latter’s sexual misconduct scandal. Chris also admitted during his interview with Scaramucci that he “makes a lot of mistakes” and started going to therapy after being “s–t-canned” by his former bosses.
