Tucker Carlson Drops Joining Trump Bombshell After Firing

Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter and announced that he, his father Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson and Dan Bongino will be appearing during the Turning Point Action conference on July 15th and 16th.

Earlier this year, Abby Grossberg, a producer for Fox News, filed lawsuits against the network, Tucker Carlson, and other producers, alleging coercion to provide false testimony in the defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems against Fox. Grossberg also claimed that she and host Maria Bartiromo were being set up as scapegoats for the network’s dissemination of false conspiracy theories about Dominion’s involvement in manipulating the 2020 election results. She further accused male producers of harassment within a toxic and misogynistic environment at Fox.

In response to Grossberg’s lawsuits, Fox News swiftly terminated her employment, citing the disclosure of privileged information. However, the cases have now been settled for $12 million, according to the New York Times.

This settlement follows Fox News’ efforts to address the fallout from the Dominion lawsuit. Grossberg played a significant role in the Dominion case, with her deposition, emails, and audio recordings submitted as evidence. Notably, six days after Fox settled with Dominion for a substantial sum of $787.5 million, the network abruptly canceled Tucker Carlson’s show.

Later, the Times reported that Carlson was fired due to racist and sexist text messages discovered during the Dominion lawsuit. In one message, he expressed reservations about three Trump supporters beating up an “Antifa kid” because “it’s not how white men fight.” The Fox News board was reportedly concerned about the potential public release of these messages and the impact they could have on the network’s reputation if the Dominion case proceeded to trial.

One example, cited in her lawsuit, claims the office was decorated with photos of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wearing a revealing swimsuit. Grossberg alleges Fox News employees regularly disparaged women with vulgar insults, including calling host Maria Bartiromo a “crazy bitch,” and mocked Jewish employees with antisemitic remarks. Seems pretty bad—and wholly believable.

This development is noteworthy considering that Fox News has been no stranger to racism and sexism. Grossberg’s lawsuit highlighted a hostile work environment where women were allegedly disparaged, and Jewish employees faced anti-Semitic remarks.
