Will Smith Wife Dropped Sad Racism Bombshell

Jada Pinkett Smith is more than just known as Will Smith’s wife. She has had a remarkable journey since she began her career in 1990. Jada and Will first met on the set of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which marked the beginning of their love story. At that time, Will was in a troubled marriage with actor Sheree Zampino, but they eventually divorced, making way for Jada to enter his life.

Throughout her career, Jada has appeared in nearly 20 films, including notable titles like The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Nutty Professor, Ali, Menace II Society, and the Madagascar series. She is also a mother to two children, Willow and Jaden Smith, who have made their own marks in the entertainment industry.

However, even with the immense popularity of her husband, Jada has faced controversies and racism throughout her life. In her early days, she formed a metal band called Wicked Wisdom. During a Mother’s Day special episode of her daughter Willow’s talk show, Red Table Talk, in May 2021, they paid tribute to Jada’s rock song “Bleed all over me.” In a subsequent interview, Willow revealed that she learned about the racism and sexism her mother faced during her time with the band. Jada received death threats from the public and even had glass thrown at her onstage.

“My mom got so much hate, it was intense racism and sexism, just packed onto the tens. People gave her death threats and threw glass at her onstage. Some crazy stuff went down.”

Jada and Will’s married life has also encountered challenges over the years, with Jada often being linked to other men. In 2011, rumors circulated that she was dating Marc Anthony, but her representatives denied those reports. In 2015, there were speculations of a potential separation, but Will took to Facebook to clarify that the rumors were false.

During the BET Awards in June 2017, Jada was rumored to be dating singer August Alsina. In a later episode of Red Table Talk, she confirmed that at that time, her marriage with Will was “open,” and she did have a relationship with August Alsina.

Jada recently took to Instagram to discuss her upcoming book, “Worthy,” which sheds light on her life. She also announced that Red Table Talk will be returning with more episodes, offering a platform to engage in open and honest conversations.
