Trump Emotional Direct Message To Tucker Carlson Leaks

Donald Trump posted a video of Tucker Carlson discussing the former President and his foreign policy with Russell Brand on Truth Social and said, “Thank you Tucker. So many lives wasted, so many lives to be saved!”

According to AZ Central, in May, U.S. Department of Justice Special Counsel Jack Smith subpoenaed the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office as part of his investigation into the events leading up to the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. The subpoenas sought information related to lawsuits filed by former President Trump’s campaign and former Arizona Republican Party Chairwoman Kelli Ward, which alleged errors and fraud in the 2020 presidential election results. The Secretary of State’s Office, represented by the law firm Coppersmith Brockelman, complied with the requests.

Despite the subpoenas to the secretary of state’s office and discussions with GOP lawmakers, it appears that Special Counsel Smith has not contacted former Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, a Republican who played a role in certifying Joe Biden’s victory in Arizona. In an earlier conversation with an unnamed donor, Ducey expressed surprise that he had not been contacted by Smith or his investigators. Ducey gained attention when he silenced a call from Trump while certifying the election results.

The investigations into the 2020 election have continued, focusing on states where the results faced resistance and allegations of fraud. In Georgia, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has met with federal investigators regarding Trump’s call urging him to “find 11,780 votes” to overturn the election outcome. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in Georgia has been investigating potential illegal interference in the election by Trump and his allies.

Former Vice President Mike Pence confirmed on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that Trump asked him to talk to Governor Ducey about the election results but stated that he did not feel pressured by the president to find evidence that Trump had won in Arizona. The investigations into the 2020 election continue as federal authorities examine the events surrounding the insurrection at the Capitol.
