Bloodline Get Massive WWE Return Canceled

The Bloodline is ceratinly one of the most dominating factions in WWE and it seems their involvement in the programming might have canceled a return. Several reports emerged that Carlito signed a deal with WWE and was planned to return at WWE SmackDown that emanated from the iconic Madison Square Garden last Friday. However, the former Intercontinental Champion didn’t return.

Carlito has made appearances a couple of times over the past two years. He competed in the 2021 Royal Rumble Match when he was a surprise entrant. In May this year, he rescued Bad Bunny at Backlash this year. He is now set to make his much-awaited full-time return to the company.

In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com was told by WWE sources that Carlito traveled to the Northeast for the company that weekend. Carlito was reportedly waiting for a flight from Pittsburgh on Sunday which is where WWE’s medical program is located.

“One WWE source noted that Carlito’s return on last week’s Smackdown ‘would have been lost in the wake of the Bloodline’ so it was for the best he didn’t return that evening. The LWO was used only for cameo appearances on the episode.”

The Usos picked up a huge win over Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in a Bloodline Civil War at Money In The Bank earlier this month. During a recent edition of K100, WWE star Karrion Kross shed praise on the match.

On the Bloodline Civil War match’s storytelling: “Being in the machine now and seeing how important storytelling is — I can give you a prime example. That tag team match with The Bloodline, the Civil War, that was in my opinion, that was one of the best matches I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m not just putting it over because I’m in the company, I just mean I felt like I was watching a movie.”
