Multi-time Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is certainly one of the toughest stars in the women’s division. She has been an integral part of the women’s division. It seems that a recent procedure could not keep her out of the ring.
There had been reports surrounding her injury status and WWE star Becky Lynch said she is doing just fine via USA Today.
Lynch and husband, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, attended the 2023 ESPY Awards on Wednesday and provided an update after there were reports from Fightful Select that her match against Zoey Stark on Monday Night Raw was going to be pulled because she wasn’t medically cleared. Lynch was able to go, however, and ended up losing the match.
The six-time WWE women’s champion told USA TODAY Sports she had a procedure done for a cyst and was awaiting clearance for Monday.
“When I landed from London, I had to go to the ER and had to get a cyst removed. Then had to get that redone on Friday, but was in the ring, fine, ready to go by Monday,” Lynch said.
“Long story short, she’s a savage. Nothing can keep her down,” Rollins responded.
WWE SummerSlam is less than a month away and ‘The Man’ said that she wants to face the WWE Hall of Famer and her rival Trish Stratus for the event, without Stark by her side. Becky Lynch wants to “give her a pummeling.”
WWE SummerSlam is set to take place on August 5 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
