Andrew Garfield Made Weird Racial Remark To Jamie Foxx

In the 2014 film “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” Jamie Foxx portrayed the character of Electro, one of Marvel’s popular anti-heroes with a backstory that audiences could empathize with. The film, starring Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, was praised for its ensemble cast, which also included Foxx.

In one interaction with young fans, a child asked Garfield about the significance of the red and blue colors in Spider-Man’s costume. Garfield, being creative, mentioned that red stood for fire and blue for the ocean, and any other color would have been inappropriate. Foxx, who was listening, playfully feigned shock at Garfield’s response, sending everyone into laughter.
