Trish Stratus Drops Triple H & Rhea Ripley Bombshell

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently liked a Tweet that said the feud between Stratus and Becky Lynch has got lost in the shuffle in Triple H’s WWE creative. The post also mentioned that the same can be said about Rhea Ripley’s WWE Women’s World Title reign as well.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus have been involved in a feud on the red brand for months, and their rivalry has gotten personal. Stratus defeated Lynch at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia after Zoey Stark made her main roster debut. Stark emerged from under the ring and hit The Man with a Z360, and the Hall of Famer capitalized to pick up the victory.

The two stars were seemingly heading toward a clash at SummerSlam, but the match was pushed back to next week’s episode of WWE RAW. Stratus was not at RAW last night as Zoey Stark suffered a loss to Shayna Baszler, with Becky Lynch watching the action ringside.

On the latest edition of Raw, they were also unable to settle the matter as the match ended in a double count out. Now, the Lynch-Stratus saga must end the way many a longstanding rivalry has in the past, with the two squaring off in a steel cage match.

Meanwhile, the WWE Universe has often been vocal about Rhea Ripley’s current reign, and fans aren’t happy about how it has transpired. Rhea Ripley became the SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania earlier this year when she beat Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. She got the chance to contest for the title after she won the Royal Rumble in January this year.

The SmackDown Women’s Championship was later renamed and Rhea was presented with a new title – the Women’s World Championship – on the June 12, 2023, episode of RAW.  Her lacklustre title reign has not seen her battle any credible challegers. She hasn’t defended the title regularly as well.
