WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently took to his social media account and blasted a news outlet following the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk. He also paid tribute to Bray Wyatt.

Funk recently passed away at the age of 79. His career spanned five decades. The legendary pro wrestler made appearances in WWE, WCW, ECW, and many more promotions throughout his storied career. He was also in a tag team with his brother, Dory Funk Jr., and captured the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from Jack Brisco in 1975.

Meanwhile, ‘The Nature Boy’ took to his Twitter and shared a heartfelt tribute to Funk after his death. Ric Flair said that he never met somebody who worked harder than Funk in his entire life. In addition, he stated that Funk was a great wrestler, entertainer, and friend. Flair claimed that nobody would ever be able to replace Funk in professional wrestling and included some images of the two together in the post seen below:

“In My Entire Life, I’ve Never Met A Guy Who Worked Harder. Terry Funk Was A Great Wrestler, Entertainer, Unbelievably Fearless, And A Great Friend! Rest In Peace My Friend Terry Funk Knowing That No One Will Ever Replace You In The World Of Professional Wrestling! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻, wrote Ric Flair.

It was noted that a reputed sports outlet, ESPN focused on other sports like football. This did not sit well with Ric Flair. He went on to tweet out to let a sporting network know that he is not happy at all about their programming. On a day when the world lost a legend like Terry Funk, Ric Flair wanted to see Funk tributes on ESPN instead of anything else.

“Damn It @espn! Terry Funk Died And As Usual You’re Talking About Another Football Player Being Arrested Yesterday! SHOCKER! Shame On You!”
