WWE Remove Two Female Stars Before Raw

Becky Lynch and Katana Chance have been removed from Raw tonight due to injuries.

WWE Hall of Famer Edge (now Adam Copeland in AEW) made his debut for AEW at WrestleDream. Fans were surprised with the debut but AEW talent considered his debut “the worst kept secret in wrestling.” That being said, the door is not closed for his WWE return.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE knew that Edge was on his way to the company. This falls in line with our previous reporting, and it was pretty clear at the start of the summer that the Rated R Superstar wasn’t staying with WWE.

Reports indicate that Adam Copeland, who is also known as Edge, left WWE amicably. The company has expressed willingness to welcome him back at a later time, and those within WWE who were interviewed by Sapp conveyed their happiness for him.

“Some within WWE said that it became obvious to them at the start of the summer that Edge wasn’t returning.”

WWE sources we spoke to claim that Adam Copeland left on good terms, and would be welcomed back into the company if he ever returned.

The overwhelming consensus was a positive within AEW and a “happy for him” within WWE”
