Trump’s President Opponent Forgets Speech In Video

It has been noted that Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s independent presidential campaign launch in Philadelphia against Trump and Biden got off to a shaky start on Monday. He struggled to find his speech and then complained that it was upside down via Media Ite.

After searching his jacket and trouser pockets at the podium, Kennedy told an assistant, “I need my speech,” before walking off stage as the audience laughed.

Kennedy’s backstage conversation could then be heard through his microphone.

“You can’t read anything,” he complained. “It’s upside down! It’s upside down.”

“Don’t worry about that,” the assistant explained, before pointing to where Kennedy was supposed to look — presumably where the speech was not upside down.

Kennedy then laughed and patted the man on the chest before finally starting his speech.

During the speech, Kennedy made the announcement that he would be running for president of the United States as an independent candidate, effectively ending his Democratic primary campaign against President Joe Biden.

“I am here to declare myself an independent candidate,” he announced, before declaring that Americans were “tired of the culture wars” and “ready to reclaim their freedom and independence.”

Mediaite’s Diana Falzone broke the news last month that Kennedy would be launching an independent presidential run.

A campaign insider told Mediaite at the time, “Bobby feels that the DNC is changing the rules to exclude his candidacy so an independent run is the only way to go.”

The news sparked concerns in former President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, which reportedly feared an independent Kennedy campaign could take more votes away from Trump than Biden.
