He argued that he had been denied his rights in the case, including the right to a jury.
Trump accused James of misrepresenting the value of his property, Mar-a-Lago, and emphasized that his financial statements did not constitute fraud due to a 100% disclaimer clause. He labeled the trial as an “Election Interference Witch Hunt” and called on New York State to intervene and stop the proceedings.
