Conor McGregor Posts Rigged Fury vs. Ngannou Photo

Conor McGregor took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou, where he stated that Ngannou was the clear winner despite his loss.

If it was MMA, this right here is a massacre. Fair play to Francis, and fair play to Tyson for taking the unknown challenge. Francis won despite what the judges say (albeit under boxing rules over 10 rounds, it was close!) Both fought valiantly. Respect. May God bless fighting sport, as for me, in today’s often grim and sad world, it is the premier distraction to what is going on. Thank you to the fighters, thank you to the hosts! Honored to be ringside! God bless ❤️

In a stunning turn of events, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou defied all odds and expectations in a remarkable showdown against boxing champion Tyson Fury this past Saturday in Saudi Arabia.

Ngannou, whose resilience and power surprised many, pushed Fury, the current WBC world champion, to the limit in their non-title crossover bout. Contrary to predictions, he not only survived the entire ten-round distance but also delivered a formidable challenge throughout the match.

During the initial rounds, Ngannou immediately established himself as a formidable and dangerous adversary, catching Fury off guard. The third round witnessed a seismic moment as Ngannou’s powerful left hand struck Fury, sending him to the canvas, leaving the entire venue in a state of disbelief. The energy in the arena reached a fever pitch during the eighth round when Fury found himself in a precarious position under the onslaught of Ngannou’s relentless barrage, resulting in a cut on Fury’s forehead from an Ngannou uppercut.

Despite Ngannou’s impressive showing, Fury ultimately secured a narrow split decision victory, with two judges scoring it 95-94 and 96-93 in favor of Fury, while a third judge scored it 95-94 for Ngannou. Undeterred, the MMA veteran firmly believes that he did enough to secure a win, expressing his conviction that his performance merited the victory.

Ngannou conveyed his sentiments to ESPN, reflecting, “If he’s being honest, he would say that I won that fight, I won that fight, there’s not a question about it, but even before getting here, I knew that if the fight would get to a decision, I’m not winning, not because I didn’t do good, but because I’m the new guy in the house.”

Fury, meanwhile, is scheduled to face WBO, IBF, IBO, and WBA champion Oleksandr Usyk on December 23 in Saudi Arabia. Given the toll from the intense bout with Ngannou, there is speculation that the Fury-Usyk match might be postponed. A decision on the matter is expected in the days to come.
