WWE Star Botches Raw Match After Concussion

This week’s WWE RAW presented an eventful episode, highlighted by a high-stakes fatal four-way match for a shot at GUNTHER’s coveted Intercontinental Title. However, the course of events didn’t unfold as anticipated.

Amidst the electrifying action, Ricochet endured a significant blow during the match. Despite this setback, Ricochet valiantly soldiered on, striving to execute the planned sequence. Nevertheless, the climax of the match left much to be desired, culminating in a perplexing double pinfall situation.

In this unforeseen turn of events, The Miz secured a pin over Bronson Reed, while simultaneously, Ivar managed to pin Ricochet. In a twist, Ricochet managed to kick out, while Bronson Reed succumbed to the three-count. Consequently, The Miz was proclaimed the sole victor of the tumultuous match, leaving an air of bewilderment and uncertainty in its wake.

Wrestling Observer Radio’s Bryan Alvarez shed light on the chaos, attributing the disrupted finish to Ricochet’s compromised state following the earlier blow. Alvarez hinted at the possibility of Ricochet suffering a concussion during the course of the match.

The visual chaos that unfolded on-screen mirrored the backstage confusion as all participants grappled with the unexpected turn of events. The referee attempted to rein in The Miz’s premature celebration while impeding the ring announcer’s declaration of The Miz as the winner. Observers noted the apparent deviation from the scripted finish, with Ricochet seemingly meant to be pinned but instead defiantly kicking out due to his altered condition.

Amidst the disarray, Ivar seized the opportunity to deliver a stunning coup de grâce, obliterating The Miz with a breathtaking moonsault, leaving the antagonist incapacitated and the audience chanting their disapproval. Ricochet was subsequently escorted off, prompting concerns of a possible concussion necessitating his inclusion in the league’s stringent concussion protocol.

If you watch the match, this was not the planned finish. Like, everyone in the ring is confused, they’re all looking around like, ‘what the hell is going on here?’ The referee is trying to stop The Miz from celebrating and trying to stop the ring announcer for announcing The Miz as the winner.

So, I am 99% positive that Ricochet was supposed to be pinned, but he kicked out, because he was messed up. Everyone is confused, and the referee makes a deal and it ends up with Ivar laying out The Miz afterward and destroying him with a giant moonsault and leaving him for dead. The crowd chants ‘You suck’ … Ricochet was led off, and he is in the concussion protocol.”

Michael Cole’s commentary acknowledged the unexpected double pin, indicating the planned course of action. However, Ricochet’s resilience disrupted the carefully orchestrated sequence, leaving the WWE universe on tenterhooks. With The Miz slated to face Ivar on next week’s RAW, and GUNTHER’s Survivor Series matchup remaining shrouded in uncertainty, the WWE landscape brims with unpredictability and anticipation.
