Trump claimed that the case was a disgrace, should never have been brought, and insisted that his financials were the best the expert witness had ever seen. He accused the Attorney General of being corrupt and referred to the judge as a “Trump Hating Radical Left Judge” who may be crazy.
Trump argued that there was no jury, no victim, and criticized the statute used in the case as never intended for such purposes. He disparaged the star witness, who he claimed had admitted to lying during testimony, and accused the judge of conducting a hit job.
