Maryse recently took to her Instagram account and posted a picture by the pool table. Her caption read:
“5 weeks to go until the house is completed can’t waaaaaaiiitttt!!!!”
Meanwhile, Maryse’s husband The Miz is set to get another shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship.At WWE Survivor Series, The Miz challenged Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Though Gunther emerged victorious, The Miz pushed Gunther to his limits and the champion, and the match was much closer than many fans expected. Since then, The Miz has requested a rematch, but Gunther has refused to give it to him.
On the December 11 episode of WWE Raw, Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci) faced DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and a mystery partner. Gargano revealed that their partner was The Miz, and he led the trio to victory as he scored the pin.
Later in the show, The Miz confronted Gunther backstage and demanded a rematch. Gunther agreed to give him a title shot. However, Gunther said that if The Miz lost, he could not challenge for the title again as long as he still held the gold.
There is no word on when The Miz will challenge Gunther for the title but when he does it will certainly be an exciting match.
