According to Conservative Brief, attorney and spokeswoman for Donald Trump, Alina Habba, criticized the recent decision by the Colorado Supreme Court to remove the former president from the 2024 ballot in the state. Habba expressed confidence that the decision would be swiftly overturned by the United States Supreme Court.
In an interview with “Breitbart News Daily” host Mike Slater, Habba responded to former Trump White House lawyer Ty Cobb’s statement on CNN, predicting a quick and unanimous decision in the Supreme Court in favor of Trump. When asked if she agreed with Cobb, Habba responded with a resounding “a hundred percent.”
She criticized the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision, suggesting that judges often attempt to make a name for themselves and align with liberal ideologies. Habba emphasized that the decision lacked an understanding of due process and the Constitution, asserting that the state-level court would appear ridiculous when overturned by the Supreme Court.
Habba expressed confidence in the Supreme Court’s ability to make the right decision, stating that due process exists for a reason and that the decision by the Colorado Supreme Court was so absurd that she wasn’t concerned about the outcome in the higher court.
