It has been noted South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem (R) recently ripped Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley and called her a shapeshifter who adjusts her positions to fit her “political agenda” at the moment via Mediaite.
Appearing on Tuesday’s edition of The Balance on Newsmax, Noem was asked by Eric Bolling if she is in the running to be former President Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick. The governor professed ignorance.
“If he picked Nikki Haley, would that be a mistake?” Bolling asked.
“Yes,” Noem replied without hesitation. “But if he picked her, I would tell him I disagreed with him. But then I would support the ticket because he’s still the president [sic] and the president still makes the decisions and, you know, I just, I’ve had a lot of disagreements with Nikki Haley over the years. And I just don’t know which Nikki Haley is gonna show up every day. She’s a different person, depending on whatever works for her political agenda.”
Haley went on to call Trump “a normal human being who tells the truth and gets up every day fighting for people. He has no reason to do this job other than that he does truly believe in America.”
Trump, who is under indictment in four jurisdictions, is currently running away from Republican rivals in the polls. Haley, a former South Carolina governor and ambassador to the United Nations under Trump, has repeatedly taken flak from the former president. He has referred to Haley as “birdbrain” on several occasions. Noem has been floated as a potential running mate for Trump.
