Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz made notable remarks in response to the unsealing of hundreds of court documents related to the lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell, an associate of the late Jeffrey Epstein, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking. Epstein, prior to his death, faced charges of sex trafficking, and a decade earlier, he had been convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Dershowitz, who had been an associate and attorney for Epstein, appeared on Hannity to share his reaction to the released documents. He had previously faced accusations in a lawsuit of being a “participant in sex trafficking” related to Epstein, but the accuser later retracted the claim, citing a possible mistaken identity. Dershowitz did represent Epstein and flew with him, but not to the island.
During the discussion, Dershowitz shifted the focus to criticize what he termed as the silence of “radical feminists” in the wake of the Oct. 7 terror attacks by Hamas in Israel. He expressed his view that feminist groups were not adequately critical of Hamas’ actions, including rapes of young Jewish girls, sexual abuse, and beheadings. Dershowitz pointed out what he perceived as hypocrisy within the “Me Too” movement, suggesting it remains silent when it involves Jewish individuals.
He called for a list of radical feminists advocating for the revelation of names in the Epstein case, questioning how many had condemned Hamas for the documented abuses. Dershowitz highlighted his satisfaction with the released court papers, emphasizing that he had urged for their disclosure, confident that they would exculpate him from any wrongdoing.
Now, the one point I do want to make, I understand all the feminist groups and the radicals who think this is the worst thing in the world that anybody ever had any contact with Jeffrey Epstein. Where are all those radical feminists when it comes to the Hamas rapes of young Jewish girls, sexual abuse, beheadings? They are quiet, they are silent! The incredible hypocrisy of the “Me Too” movement. “Me Too,” except if you’re a Jew.
And I want to have a list of all the radical feminists who are pushing hard – and I understand that – to get all these names are revealed. And I want to know, how many of them have ever actually condemned Hamas for the rapes that we now know occurred and the murders that occurred? How many have been silent? And how many, like the National Lawyers Guild, have actually approved of what Hamas did?
So, let’s put this context. I’m thrilled that all these papers have come out. I urged them. I went to court and I asked for everything to come out because I knew that I had done nothing wrong, and the papers would exculpate me.
