Trump Hires Famous Woman ‘Because She’s Hot’

It has been noted that Alina Habba, who is one of the many lawyers representing former President Donald Trump in his many legal cases, knows she’s in the spotlight a lot.

She has an idea of how she got there. So when she was asked her if her looks had anything to do with her becoming such a prominent figure in Trumpworld, she had an answer: “[I]t doesn’t hurt to be good-looking.”

This part of their conversation on Thursday’s episode of PBD Podcast starts just before the 21:00 mark, and co-host Adam Sosnick’s question went like this:

“You’re capable, you’re smart, you’re intelligent, you’re loyal. You have all the qualifications. But you’re also an attractive woman. You know, we saw what happened withJohnny Depp when, you know, Amber Heard’s on the stand… And Johnny Depp’s lawyer: female, capable, amazing, there’s just a different dynamic when a woman is questioning a woman, or a woman is basically representing a man…

You know, say what you will about Trump, alpha man, you know, you would suspect he picks an alpha guy. But he picks a feminine, smart, capable woman. How much of you being an attractive, smart woman do you think played a role in this?”

Her answer:

“I don’t think I’d be on TV or sitting here if I didn’t look the way I look. I think I caught attention. I’m very honest about that, and I don’t mind. I’m not a feminist. Okay? I believe in strong women, but I want my door opened. …

Somebody said to me, “Alina, would you rather be smart or pretty?” And I said, “Oh, easy. Pretty. I can fake being smart.” …

Listen, like, you have to be honest. It doesn’t hurt to be good-looking in this world, in the PR world, on TV. It doesn’t hurt. And when you’re good-looking, that’s great, but it can also mean people think you’re stupid.”

She also claimed that despite all of that, it’s not why she was hired by a man who is not known for having progressive views of women:

“People think President Trump hired me because I was good-looking. That is absolutely not the case.”
