WWE Remove Top Star From WrestleMania Main Event

Cody Rhodes, with a singular goal of becoming the World Champion at WrestleMania 40, might see his plans disrupted due to speculation surrounding The Rock’s potential return to the wrestling ring. This uncertainty has cast a shadow over Rhodes’s presumed role as the opponent for Roman Reigns at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Despite the swirling rumors, Cody Rhodes has remained resolute and unwavering, expressing his belief that he will headline WrestleMania 40 and finally bring his story to a conclusion.

However, reports from Sports Illustrated, citing sources close to WWE’s Head of Creative, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, suggest a different narrative. According to these sources, Cody Rhodes is not expected to headline this year’s WrestleMania, and the anticipated resolution to his storyline may not take place at the prestigious event.

”Multiple sources close to WWE Head of Creative Paul “Triple H” Levesque have indicated that Rhodes will not headline this year’s event, nor will he “finish his story” at WrestleMania.”

The speculation gained momentum following a backstage conversation between Cody Rhodes and The Rock, adding further fuel to the WrestleMania rumors. The Rock’s status for WrestleMania 40 has also been a topic of discussion since his affiliation with TKO was revealed. As the uncertainty lingers, fans will eagerly await official announcements to determine whether Cody Rhodes will indeed miss the opportunity to conclude his story at WrestleMania 40 this year.
