A divisive character in professional wrestling history, the former WWE CEO Vince McMahon is currently the subject of trafficking accusations that have spurred intense discussion and controversy. It seems that a former WWE star will decide not to respond to McMahon’s accusations if they cross paths in real life. He is currently the target of charges of sexual trafficking.
Former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE on January 25. The lawsuit describes events that occurred between March 2019 and March 2022 and claims McMahon’s involvement in sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.
While speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long shared that he wouldn’t bring up certain topics if he were to meet Vince McMahon. He believes it’s not his place to inquire about specific situations with his former boss.
Teddy Long has clarified that he would prefer to have a friendly conversation, maybe hug McMahon, and discuss other matters without delving into sensitive issues. He emphasized that it wouldn’t be his position to inquire about such matters directly.
“I wouldn’t even bring that up. I would just speak to him and maybe give him a big hug, see how he looks, and compliment him on how he looks. You know, let’s sit down, let’s talk. I wouldn’t even bring that up because I don’t think I’m at liberty to do that. I don’t think that would be my position to move right into Vince if I met him and say, ‘Hey man, what’s going on with all that stuff?’ That ain’t my spot. So, I wouldn’t even bring it up.”
