Brock Lesnar is back on WWE’s roster page, despite being removed from the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania due to the Vince McMahon scandal. Lesnar remains under WWE contract.
Jim Ross made a notable return to the commentary table at AEW’s Revolution 2024 pay-per-view, taking a moment to address a topic that has sent shockwaves through the wrestling industry: Vincent Kennedy McMahon’s departure from WWE.
McMahon’s exit in January 2024 was surrounded by sensational allegations made by Janel Grant in a lawsuit. Grant accused McMahon of sexual abuse and trafficking her to other influential figures within the company, with Brock Lesnar allegedly among them. Lesnar’s absence from WWE plans added another layer of complexity to the situation.
Despite McMahon vehemently denying the allegations and claiming the lawsuit is filled with fabrications, the fallout has reverberated throughout the wrestling world. Former WWE executive John Laurinaitis, also named in the suit, has maintained his innocence, while Lesnar has remained silent on the matter.
Having collaborated closely with McMahon for decades, Ross didn’t hold back when discussing his former boss’s departure on his Grilling JR podcast. Expressing a mix of weariness and frustration, Ross underscored the impact the situation has had on innocent individuals.
“I’m tired of it. It’s embarrassing in a lot of ways that it’s happened this way. It’s affected a lot of innocent people. That’s my take on it.”
Ross went on to emphasize the importance of moving forward and leaving McMahon’s alleged actions in the past.
“It’s time to move on. It’s time to move on and cause some rest and peace for some people and it’s time to move on in my opinion.”
