It has been noted that footage of Donald Trump appearing to ignore his grandson at a UFC match is making rounds on social media. The 77-year-old was flanked by UFC president Dana White as he walked into the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, on Saturday.
In the clip shared which has been spreading on Twitter, the former president greets fans while Kid Rock’s “American Badass” roars over the speakers.
Spotting his daughter Ivanka Trump, the Republican politician pulled her in for a hug before shaking hands with her husband Jared Kushner. It was noted that however, as his grandson begins to move towards him, Trump walked away, leaving the child looking dejected.
The business mogul continues to address the crowd, Ivanka can be seen over his shoulder. However, her grin quickly turns to a scowl as she comforts her son.
Since being posted by Meidas Touch Editor and Trump critic Ron Filipkowski on Tuesday, the clip has received over 80,000 views.
Trump made an unexpected cameo at UFC 299 and sat cageside with the Kushners. The audience greeted the politician with enthusiasm, with some even going so far as to yell “F*** Joe Biden” during the ceremony.

The real estate tycoon has recently gone to multiple UFC bouts, frequently accompanied by famous fan Kid Rock. After his speech that morning, Trump drove from Rome, Georgia, to see the bantamweight bout between Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera. In his address, the Republican took aim at Democratic opponent Joe Biden, both of whom are expected to run in the general election of 2024.
