Trump ‘Cognitive Decline’ Video Revealed At Hearing

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on the investigation into President Joe Biden’s handling of sensitive documents, Rep. Jerry Nadler launched a counterattack against Republicans by showcasing a supercut of former President Donald Trump’s gaffes and memory lapses. Nadler’s aim was to discredit accusations of cognitive decline leveled against Biden and undermine Republican assertions about Trump’s mental state.

Responding to the video presentation by Republicans ahead of special counsel Robert Hur’s testimony, Nadler seized the opportunity to challenge Trump’s credibility. He highlighted Trump’s numerous verbal slips and memory failures, juxtaposing them with Hur’s exoneration of Biden:

“President Biden probably committed a verbal slip or two during the interview, and I’m not sure any of that matters, because when the interview was over, Mr. Hur completely exonerated President Biden.

And then there is Donald Trump. What kind of man bungles not one, but dozens of opportunities to avoid criminal liability? What does that say about his mental state? Here, too, the record speaks for itself.”

Nadler proceeded to play a montage of Trump’s statements, showcasing instances where Trump appeared to struggle with memory recall or made factual errors. The montage included snippets such as Trump mistakenly referring to Viktor Orban as the leader of Turkey, and his uncertain response when asked about his marriage to Marla Maples.

Nadler concluded by asserting that Trump’s frequent memory lapses demonstrated his incapacity to avoid legal repercussions and his unsuitability for office. He suggested that Trump should reconsider before leveling accusations of cognitive decline against others, given his own apparent challenges in that regard.

REP. JERRY NADLER: President Biden probably committed a verbal slip or two during the interview, and I’m not sure any of that matters, because when the interview was over, Mr. hur completely exonerated president Biden.

And then there is Donald Trump. What kind of man bungles not one, but dozens of opportunities to avoid criminal liability? What does that say about his mental state? Here, too, the record speaks for itself.

DONALD TRUMP: One of the great memories of all time.

James Webb, I don’t remember the names, don’t remember the name.

Viktor Orban. Did anyone ever hear of him? He’s the leader of Turkey.

By the way, they never report the crowd on January 6th. You know Nikki Haley. Nikki Haley is in charge of security.

Three years lady. Ladies. Lady. How about that?

QUESTIONER: Did you actually have a one on one with Comey?

DONALD TRUMP: Not much. Not even that I remember.

We have languages coming into our country. We have nobody that even speaks those languages. They’re truly foreign languages. Nobody speaks them.

Saudi Arabia and Russia Will re-be-doo-ahhhh!

I have a really good memory.

QUESTIONER: Your next wife was a woman by the name of Marla Maples.

DONALD TRUMP: Right.

QUESTIONER: Do you recall what year you were married to Ms. Maples?

DONALD TRUMP: Ummmm.

REP. JERRY NADLER: That is a man who is incapable of avoiding criminal liability. A man who is wholly unfit for office. And who a man, and a man who, at the very least, ought to think twice before accusing others of cognitive decline.
