The track, titled “Legacy of a Legend,” was generated using Suno AI technology, complete with a lead vocal produced through voice cloning. Obviously, it’s important to note that neither Chad Kroeger nor Nickelback contributed to or performed on the song.
In 2001 Nickelback roared onto the scene with their third album, Silver Side Up, featuring the chart-topping hit “How You Remind Me.” However, another significant track from the album, “Too Bad,” delved into deeper and more personal territory for frontman Chad Kroeger.
Inspired by Kroeger’s own experiences, “Too Bad” explores the theme of childhood abandonment, drawing from his father’s departure when he was just a toddler.
