Je’Von Evans recently made his debut on NXT television after joining the WWE under the NXT brand. Known as Jay Malachi in other promotions, Evans is a promising young talent with a bright future ahead. His debut, however, was met with unexpected controversy when commentator Kevin Scampolli referred to Evans as a “slave” in a derogatory remark.
In recent weeks, Evans has been making a name for himself on NXT Level Up, and on the April 9 episode of NXT TV, he made his in-ring debut against SCRYPTS in a singles match. Evans demonstrated his skill and secured a victory, establishing himself on the NXT roster.
”Look at the panic in his face. ‘The director said wrap it up! I’m in trouble.’ This is f**** pathetic. That’s a wrestler to you? Someone who’s scared of a f****** little white dude in a suit, a jew? You’re a slave, not a wrestler. That’s a slave face. You’re deadnaming him Gino, he’s Je’Von Evans him, he’s a slave. He ain’t the free man you fell in love with.”
