The event included a special screening of this iconic movie, considered one of the greatest films of all time. Among the notable actors in the film is Bruce Willis, who has recently been in the news due to his ongoing battle with dementia.
During the festival, Arquette spoke with People about Willis’s family and their support for him during this challenging time. She expressed admiration for the close bond between Bruce Willis’s family members, including his ex-wife Demi Moore. Arquette said, “I love how his family is surrounding him and how (his ex-wife Demi Moore) and him are still very close.” She added, “(Bruce and Demi) have kids together and they all are one big tribe of loveliness and good people.” Arquette praised the family’s warmth and support, emphasizing that they were gathering around Willis with love.
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were married from 1987 to 2000, sharing three children: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Willis later married Emma Heming Willis in 2009, with whom he has two children, Mabel and Evelyn. This extended family, often referred to as a “big tribe,” has remained close-knit, supporting Willis through his recent health struggles.
In February 2023, Emma Heming Willis announced via Instagram that Bruce Willis had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. This came after a previous diagnosis of aphasia in 2022. Since then, his family has been open about expressing their love and support, often sharing moments from their family gatherings, holidays, and celebrations. Additionally, Willis and Moore’s daughter, Rumer, welcomed a daughter named Louetta on April 18, 2023, adding another member to the loving family circle.
