Adam Cole retains NXT Championship at Survivor Series

At WWE Survivor Series, Adam Cole defended his NXT Championship against Pete Dunne. Dunne earned the right to challenge Cole after he won a triple threat match between him, Killian Dain and Damian Priest at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.

Dunne controlled the match during the early stage but Cole managed to turn the tides. He then hit Cole with a vicious kick to the head for a two count. Then he pulled off a huge moonsault to the outside and Dunne had all the momentum. Then Cole blocked another moonsault attempt and hit him with a knee for a two count.

The final moments of the match saw Adam Cole hitting Pete Dunne with a superkick in mid-air for a two count. Then he hit a Panama Sunrise on the apron, taking both of them down. Finally, he hit another Panama Sunrise and the last shot for the win. So Adam Cole successfully retained his NXT Title despite a valiant effort by Pete Dunne.
