Adele’s Boyfriend Humiliated By The Rock

The Grammys are one of the biggest events in the music industry, but it seems like this year’s host, Trevor Noah, was not exactly welcomed with open arms. As the comedian strolled from table to table, trying to engage with guests, the energy in the room was awkward, to say the least. The guests’ eyes were fixed on anything but Noah, as they seemed disinterested in his banter.

It all became worse when Noah focused on Adele with a bit that left the audience confused. He told a joke about Adele wanting to meet Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, but the joke fell flat.

To make matters worse, he then brought The Rock himself onto the stage, saying that he found out that Dwayne Johnson is at the venue. Noah added that he doesn’t have Johnson, but The Rock instead. “I found out he’s a huge fan of yours, too. I don’t have Dwayne Johnson here tonight, but I do have someone called The Rock?”

The two artists then hugged, committing to the bit. But the entire scene felt forced and awkward, as if they were trying too hard to create a viral moment. Adele’s boyfriend looked embarassed, awkwardly laughing but not getting up to shake The Rock’s hand.

The Grammys is a night to celebrate music and the achievements of musicians, but it seems like Noah’s attempts to engage the crowd fell short. The vibe in the room was like the end of a Zoom meeting, and no one seemed to want to talk to him. We expected more from the host, but it seems like this year’s Grammys will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
