AEW defeats NXT in ratings this week

The Wednesday Night Wars continued this week as both AEW and NXT brought action-packed shows for fans to enjoy. It seems AEW fared better this week.

 


 

According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite garnered an average of 850,000 viewers for its two-hour broadcast. They got a .37 in the 18-49 demographic, and they were ranked #7 in cable for the night. WWE NXT did not make it into the top 50 shows. WWE NXT received 638,000 viewers and a .14 in the 18-49 demographic. They were ranked #56 in the night.

This is a huge up compared to last week’s episode, as Dynamite got 764,000 viewers last week. WWE NXT garnered 632,000 viewers. AEW brought a .32 in the 18-49 demographic while WWE NXT brought in a .16.

The week before that Dynamite received 717,000 viewers. WWE NXT brought in 610,000 viewers, with neither shows ranking in the top 50 cable shows that week.
