Former Lucha Underground Champion and AEW star Marty The Moth, a.k.a. Marty Casaus, was on a recent episode of The Wrestling Inc. Daily and said that he is set for a try-out that will take place during SummerSlam week.
WWE had announced that they will be holding tryouts in Las Vegas during SummerSlam Week in late August.
The multi-day talent tryout will give male and female athletes and performers the chance to showcase their abilities, with the goal of being selected to begin training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Roman Reigns Adding Female Uso To Bloodline?
Marty The Moth talks about the SummerSlam try-out:
“I did a try-out at the Performance Center and then really not too much came out of that, and then I was told to put in for the try-out that’s coming up here at SummerSlam,” Marty revealed. “I did that. Now, I don’t know if I’ve been accepted or anything by that, but I put my stuff in, so we’ll see what happens out of that. That’s SummerSlam weekend, so, who knows? Maybe I can go there and get a try-out and see what happens there. I haven’t heard anything back yet. They have my information, so they know where I’m at.
WWE SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 21 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
