An update on Vince McMahon’s status reveals that the former chairman was conspicuously absent backstage at this year’s WWE WrestleMania 40 event. This marks the first time in the event’s history that McMahon was not present.
His trainer, Michael Monteforte, took to Instagram to convey this message, stating, “Vince McMahon was unable to attend his first WrestleMania. How quickly people forget that without his vision, there would be no Wrestling or WrestleMania.
Sadly, when a person is down, the people who they say love you, turn their backs on you.” Monteforte further stresses, “Don’t judge a man without getting all the facts. Things aren’t always as they appear.”
McMahon is currently under federal investigation following the public revelation of the Janel Grant Lawsuit. While he resigned from TKO earlier in the year, McMahon still maintains a significant ownership stake in the company.
Shockingly enough, one of the WWE Superstars who ended up commenting on the Instagram post by Vince McMahon’s trainer was none other than R-Truth, who has been known to be quite loyal to Vince McMahon, as he commented on the post by saying ”1000” making it clear he supported the above statement.
