Tony Khan is currently making headlines not just for his impressive booking skills but also for his unapologetic and confrontational demeanor. As AEW Dynamite prepares to go head-to-head with NXT, Khan seized the opportunity to take a direct jab at none other than WWE’s Vince McMahon.
Vince McMahon found himself embroiled in a significant controversy back in June 2022 when it was revealed that he had paid a substantial sum of $3 million in a hush-money scandal. The reason behind this payment was the allegations of sexual assault made by former WWE referee Rita Chatterton, dating all the way back to 1992.
Fast forward to November 2022, and McMahon faced another unexpected twist in the saga as Chatterton demanded a hefty $11.75 million in compensation from him, reigniting public interest in the case. Even after a multi-million dollar settlement, McMahon’s legal troubles did not end there, as a spa manager filed a lawsuit against him.
However, Tony Khan, known for his fearless approach, especially in the midst of a ratings battle, didn’t hold back. In response to a fan’s declaration that they wouldn’t be tuning in to AEW Dynamite, Khan simply responded with a dismissive “couldn’t care less.”
Then came the knockout punch: when another fan suggested that if Vince McMahon had made a similar statement, AEW fans would be up in arms, Khan fired back, stating, “If Sir Vince McMahon said this, it would be the least of his alleged misdeeds,” casting a heavy shadow over McMahon’s assault allegations.
Clearly, Khan is sparing no effort to make AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday the ultimate showdown in the wrestling world. The battle lines have been drawn, and fans across the globe are eagerly anticipating the outcome of this clash of titans. Will Dynamite emerge victorious over NXT? Stay tuned for a night filled with epic wrestling action! #AEWTitleTuesday.
