Former WWE Superstar Andrade had a tremendous time in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship and also competed against the best talents in the brand. His main roster run in comparison was not as good and ultimately disappointed many fans. He had not been seen on WWE television since October of last year.
However, Andrade ultimately became miserable in the main roster and reportedly asked for his release from the company two weeks ago. It was initially not granted to him but the company had a change of heart and granted him his release this Sunday after the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view.
Andrade thanked everyone after the announcement, to which many WWE Superstars gave their own farewell messages. This included Aleister Black, with whom Andrade had a history with.
.@AndradeElIdolo goes synonymous with my WWE career. My 1st opponent & the opponent I won the belt from. From start to finish a total pro and in my opinion few have his footwork, ability to commit and execute in-ring techniques. Amigo, thank you for everything.
Andrade noticed Black’s tweet and replied to him by stating that they will once again meet inside a pro wrestling ring in a few years.
we will meet again in a ring in a few years, you are a great talent and a good friend. a big hug Tommy End
