One star is who undoubtably safe is Finn Balor. Finn Balor is undoubtedly one of the top Superstars in NXT. After a mediocre run on the WWE main roster, Finn Balor went back to NXT in October of 2019 and has remained with the brand since then. He defended his NXT Championship against Karrion Kross on Night Two of NXT TakeOver: Stand And Deliver. However, he was unable to successfully retain his title and lost the match. Karrion Kross thus became the new NXT Champion. He then faced off against Kross again on last week’s episode of WWE NXT and failed to reclaim his NXT Championship once again. Finn Balor might have been removed from Monday Night RAW as well.
The former NXT Champion recently spoke to Ryan Satin on the Out of Character podcast, where he talked about breaking his ankle while squaring off against Samoa Joe.
“I hit one on Samoa Joe where I landed on his ankle and I rolled my ankle and broke my ankle. Maybe the one on Roman, first night on Raw, but I don’t have a visual memory of any of them.
I did it off the top of the ladder one time and that was stupid. I don’t know if I’d do that again.”
