– As noted before, Terry Taylor was recently spotted at WWE developmental and is expected to be involved in the new Stamford developmental project. Brian Wittenstein, who worked under Taylor and Bob Ryder at TNA, is also apparently working with WWE now.
– WWE held the WrestleMania Reading Challenge Finals at the Miami Dade Public Library on Friday. The event was judged by Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, Hornswoggle, Alicia Fox and Brian Shields. The winner received ringside tickets for Sunday’s pay-per-view. Mick Foley and Kelly Kelly showed up to surprise the kids with an autograph signing.
– Other results from this weekend’s WrestleMania 28 Axxess matches saw Bo Rotunda defeat Antonio Cesaro, The Usos defeat Epico & Primo in a non-title match and Seth Rollins defeat Cesaro. Rollins wrote the following after Friday’s match against Cesaro:
“Rocked #axxess again tonight. This #WrestleMania weekend has been unreal. Huge thank you to anyone who has had my back over the years.”
