Putting Emma into the upcoming Fatal Four way match for the Raw Women’s Championship at No Mercy was a surprising decision by WWE since the Raw Star hasn’t really done much to justify her spot in the bout.
However, during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about her presence in the match and revealed the real reason behind it.
According to Meltzer, the former NXT star has been added to the upcoming match at No Mercy to protect the other three participants of the bout.
While the Wrestling Journalist didn’t clearly state it, Emma’s addition to the match for ‘protecting’ other competitors pretty much means that she’ll end up taking the pin on the show.
Currently, there is no news on if WWE plans for Alexa Bliss to retain the Raw Women’s Championship at No Mercy or we’ll see a new champion being crowned at the upcoming PPV.
