According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Aiden English is scheduled to get a singles push after having his now-former fellow Vaudevillain, Simon Gotch, released from the WWE after Gotch reportedly requesting for his release from the company.
It has been speculated that Gotch would be released ever since his backstage fight with Sin Cara, which was described as a “one-sided destruction” by Cara. It was also said that “Gotch’s mouth sometimes gets people mad at him” and that his personality rubbed people the wrong way.
